About the event

Presentation Information:

Do you wonder why the goal of getting to Net Zero by 2050, what would it take to get there, and more importantly who owns the actions? Join us for a discussion in how to do it and what are the actions and technologies we can use today.

Speaker Bio:

Luisa is SLB’s Vice President of Sales in Dallas Fort Worth, a position to which she was appointed in October 2020. Prior to her current role, Luisa served as Sales Manager for Schlumberger’s fracturing business in North America and Account Manager for strategic accounts from 2011 to 2020.

She joined Schlumberger in 1995 as Field Engineer in Latin America in the Well Construction team and focused on the Colombia and Mexico Drilling and Completions projects. In addition to her D&C roles, Luisa has served in roles handling talent management, along with key leadership positions including North and South America Recruiting and Training Manager for the seismic businesses, Personnel manager in Venezuela for all product lines, Sales and Commercial Expert level mentor in Schlumberger’s Professional Career progression program and North America ambassador for SLB’s End-to-End Emissions Measurement business.

Luisa is Colombian born, she immigrated to the United States in 1999 to stablish family roots in Texas.  Luisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from, University of America in Bogota Colombia and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from St. Thomas University in Houston Texas. She enjoys traveling, especially when it involves the company her two adult children.

Event Information:

In 2022 the Petroleum Engineers Club of Dallas will aim to meet on the 2nd Friday of every month (a few exceptions will happen and are noted on the club calendar). Follow us on LinkedIn for up to day announcements and join our email list for all club news. All club meetings will include networking time, lunch, and a speaker/presentation.

Once you register, we will have your RSVP information. No need to print any tickets, we will have your RSVP and payment status available to us at check-in.

Lunch Prices:

  • Early RSVP (Non-member):  $35
  • Late RSVP (Member):             $35
  • Late RSVP (Non-member):   $40
  • GOLD Member:                         Free

Early bird discount prices will be the default price for all tickets up until the Tuesday before the Friday meeting (the headcount cut-off date for the Dallas Petroleum Club).
