Speaker Bio:
Mabel Simpson, is a licensed attorney in Texas with over 30 years of experience in real estate, specializing in oil, gas, water, and land. She began her career as a landman in the oil and gas industry after completing college and paralegal school in 1980. Simpson obtained her J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law and transitioned into private law practice, focusing on real estate, oil, gas, and minerals. Her work included curative actions, leasing, and due diligence for banking institutions and energy companies. Simpson also has a background in public service, having served on the Richardson City Council from 2015 to 2019 and participating in various civic and community organizations, including Neighborhood Youth and Family Counseling of Richardson and the St. Paul School Board. She is currently a member of the Legislative Committee of the Texas Land Title Association.
Event Information:
In 2024 the Petroleum Engineers Club of Dallas will aim to meet on the 2nd Friday of every month (a few exceptions will happen and are noted on the club calendar). Follow us on LinkedIn for up-to-date announcements and join our email list for all club news. All club meetings will include networking time, lunch, and a speaker/presentation.
