This presentation by members of Haynes and Boone's Energy Practice Group will provide an overview of oil and gas securitizations, covering their structural evolution, typical deal terms, and a comparison against traditional reserve-based lending facilities
Speakers Bio:
Kim Mai is an energy attorney based in Houston whose practice focuses on complex upstream and midstream oil and gas transactions. She advises oil and gas companies and financial institutions on matters including reserve-based lending, term and syndicated loans, acquisitions and divestitures, hedging transactions, joint development and operating agreements, midstream transportation and processing agreements, commodity monetization structures, and ISDA derivatives documentation. Kim earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center in 2012, and B.A. in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2009.
