About the event

Presentation Information:

The oil and gas industry is fraught with challenges, especially regarding the transparency of transactions in Texas. Producers often struggle to ensure they’re getting the best prices for their oil due to the complexities of gathering relevant data. Barrel Hub’s software, as introduced by Luther Ott,  is designed to transform these challenges by leveraging public legislative mandates, promising a more transparent transaction environment, and ensuring that producers receive the best prices.

Barrel Hub is the first-of-its-kind software built specifically for Texas oil and gas producers. With Barrel Hub you can see and compare the actual data for every lease in Texas. Users have access to the gravity, the volume, and the real prices paid every month, on every lease in Texas. And to make that data useful Barrel Hub also gives users the name of both the purchaser and the producer for each lease. Each county is automatically sorted by price from the highest to lowest price paid, making it easy for producers to see where they rank versus their peers.
