About the event

Presentation Information:

Oil and Gas Valuation Update

Alan Harp and Atiba Henry with Stout, will share their experiences in the valuation of oil and gas properties and entities over the last decade and a half. Their presentation will cover current pricing metrics within public markets, alongside insights drawn from the A&D (Acquisition and  Divestiture) market. They will discuss the various purposes for which valuation services are provided and how the purpose can dictate the valuation methods used. They will present examples of when to incorporate a Market Approach,  how we develop sophisticated cost of capital calculations when required, and explicate considerations within income tax modeling when pertinent. They will discuss how to approach leasehold valuation differently than mineral and royalty valuation and how they address nonproducing mineral valuation.
